Still not totally sure HOW we ended up with leftover brownies… but after raiding the fridge and finding some of our favorite McConnell’s Turkish Coffee ice cream, we got the idea for these crunchy, chocolatey, perfectly caffeinated coffee milkshakes.
Zero waste never tasted so good. Bake ‘em up and shake it off ASAP!
Ingredients
Brownies
-
2 eggs
-
1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil
-
2 tablespoons water
-
1 box Miss Jones Organic Brownie Mix
Shake
-
1 pint ice cream
-
1 cup milk
-
1 cup crumbled brownie pieces
Toppings
-
1 cup crushed cocoa nibs
-
1-2 pints your favorite coffee ice cream (we used McConnell’s)
-
Miss Jones Organic Brownies (already baked up and cooled off!)
Directions
Bake brownies according to package directions. Set aside to cool completely or pop in the freezer.
In a blender, combine ice cream and milk until thoroughly blended. Add brownie chunks and pulse to keep some chunky brownie bits, or puree for a smoother shake.
Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate nibs or MORE brownie… have fun with it, just remember to show us what you made by tagging @missjonesbakes and #madewithmissjones!
Recipe Note
Pro tips:
- This shake can be slightly habit-forming, so blend with caution.
