Social Media and Influencer Relations Manager

Miss Jones Baking Co. is looking for a well-rounded, creative, organized and motivated social and digital marketer to join our team of baker babes! Must be a self-starter, innovative and always on top of the latest trends in social strategy as well as influencer marketing. Excellent communication skills are a must. Able to juggle a variety of tasks from chatting up influencers to outlining quarterly goals and strategies to creating content on the fly.


Social media management and customer engagement (40%)

  • Take full ownership of social media channels, ideating and implementing actionable, tactical and measurable cross platform social strategies to meet audience development goals including growth, engagement, brand awareness and traffic
  • Work with the Creative Director to plan and execute social calendars for all marketing channels with consideration of seasonality and real time trends
  • Create and execute weekly engaging content across social media platforms Proactively engage with our community and manage all customer engagement across social channels, digital ads and email
  • Pitch, organize and help lead the plans for social coverage of special events and production opportunities to create content, drive conversation and expose our audience to all aspects of the brand in real time
  • Conceptualize additional activations to generate tons of digital influencer/consumer advocate love and brand buzz in social -- then do whatever it takes to execute your vision
  • Assist with photo/event based shoots with talent and capture content as needed
  • Track, analyze and report on social performance on an ongoing basis. Leverage data to evolve best practices and inform strategy, creative, marketing, partnerships and innovation. Provide frequent and actionable updates to leadership teams

Influencer activations (40%)

  • Own influencer strategy and relationships, including identification, communication, shipments, sponsorships, and post coordination
  • Endlessly dig into digital influencer activity across the social-sphere (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok) to report on trends, content and collaborations
  • Monitor all social platforms (specifically Instagram and Twitter) on a regular basis to ensure consistent contact with all applicable influencers, including sending products, adding additional influencers to master lists, etc.
  • Analyze other brands influencer strategy to refine and improve our strategy and ROI Be nimble and ready to experiment and revise strategies on an ongoing basis

Brand partnerships (10%)

  • Own brand partnership strategy and relationships, including social and email collaborations and giveaways to help build our social following and email list

Email marketing (10%)

  • Own all email marketing including developing, executing and managing email calendar and campaigns


  • 2-4 years full-time social media marketing experience for a new brand or at an agency
  • Openness to working some evenings and weekends, as social media is always on
  • Photography skills. Proficient with Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and social management tools such as Planoly a plus. T
  • horough technical understanding of the primary social platforms in the space: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and the audiences that use them
  • Ability to use existing photo and video assets with efficiency and turn “low hanging” source footage into compelling social media content

Performance Marketing Director

Miss Jones Baking Co. is looking for a smart, numbers-oriented, creative, and organized performance marketer to grow our digital and retail sales. Must be a self-starter, innovative, scrappy and always on top of the latest marketing tactics. You are a strategic marketer who has vision and likes to execute – someone who can drive performance across the entire consumer journey and across all platforms, designing customer acquisition and retention programs that deliver. We are a small but mighty team and need someone who can flex beyond just performance marketing to also manage and execute our overall marketing strategy.


  • Work with cross functional partners to create and manage an annual marketing plan across all channels (online and offline)
  • Lead performance marketing strategy to design digital and offline customer journeys that drive acquisition and retention
  • Drive retention, engagement, community building and conversion through well-strategized and properly researched campaigns
  • Develop and own the annual marketing budget and marketing KPIs that support the overall brand strategy and financial goals
  • Create and manage a monthly tactical marketing plan, collaborating closely with your cross-functional partners to ensure alignment
  • Work with Creative Director to plan and execute brand campaigns across marketing channels
  • Drive email strategy, calendar and execution with the goals of subscriber growth, revenue and engagement
  • Manage brand collaborations and coordinate PR plan
  • Build, mentor, and manage a small internal and contract marketing team that executes at the highest levels and consistently achieves stretch goals
  • Mix creativity and data-driven insights to improve, scale, and optimize our customer acquisition, retention and LTV
  • Share performance insights through weekly reporting, and forecast performance by channel


  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with 2-3 years of experience leading performance marketing for consumer products with a multi-channel sales strategy
  • Experience leading paid search (Google), paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok), programmatic channels (DoubleClick, Quantcast), ad management and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Kenshoo, Pacvue or other)
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proven track record managing SEO, conducting A/B testing, landing page optimization and a range of other related skills
  • Excellent communications and writing skills with the ability to multi-task on a variety of goals and deadlines in a constantly changing environment
